Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2004 Infiniti G35
Question:
Hello and thank you very much for the last response. The information was very helpful and the links allowed me to find the product quick. Now my question....I recently asked if I should install a transmission cooler on my 2003 4Runner. I got that answer but is it still worth adding a cooler even though my vehicle has 134k? The same question goes for my 2004 G35. It has 122k and running strong. I would like to extend the life of my vehicles any way possible. Any info will help. Thank you in advance.

Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so you can add one to your 2004 Infiniti G35. it is a good idea to add a transmission cooler to any vehicle, especially those with high miles, to extend the transmission life. There is probably less space under the hood of the G35 than there is on the 4Runner so I would go with a smaller cooler like # D13502.
If you wanted to cool the engine oil and the transmission fluid, you would use a cooler like # D15902 that you have referenced. Given the size of this cooler (17 inches wide, 12-1/2 inches tall, 3/4 inches deep) it may be hard to find a good mounting location on a G35.
I have included some links on transmission coolers for you to view. Please note that while isntallation is basically the same on any vehicle, what will change is where a cooler can be mounted and how much space is available.
