How to Determine Electric Brakes for 1970 Airstream International Land Yacht Trailer

1970 Airstream International Land Yacht Trailer Seeking replacement brakes and related components. Has two axles, not sure of the load capacity. Can someone help me locate the correct pair of brakes for the RV? I would to add brakes for both axles.

While we don't have any way of knowing what brakes you need on a 1970 Airstream International Land Yacht Trailer, I can tell you how to determine the correct ones. You need to know the size of your drum, which will point you to the correct capacity.

- 7" diameter x 1-1/4" wide: Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 7" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 2,000 lbs # 23-47-48

- 10" diameter x 1-1/2" wide: Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,000 lbs # K23-472-473-00

- 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide: Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # 23-468-469

These brakes each fit a 4-bolt mounting flange and come with the needed mounting hardware, you'd only need Adjustment Spoon # W80630 for the 2,000 lb and 3,000 lb options that are not self-adjusting. I have added links to video reviews and an install for you to check out as well.
