Travel Trailer Storage Stabilization on an Incline.

Question:

I have a Travel Trailer with a 2 5/16inch Ball Receiver that I store on an inclined driveway that raises the hitch to 44inch to level. Will this Jack Stand Ball work for my trailer to latch the receiver when it is installed?

The Ultra-Fab Gooseneck Trailer Tripod Stabilizer part # UF19-950450 would work great to help stabilize the camper because your 44" ball height falls right in the range of the tripod and it has the required 2 5/16" ball.

You should keep in mind that this can't be used to support the tongue weight it is designed for stabilization only. The normal use is the 5th wheel resting on it's landing gear and this helping to keep it from moving around.

If you were to use you trailer jack with leveling blocks to obtain level then place the tripod underneath for additional stabilization you would be well within the guidelines for using the tripod.

You should have your wheels properly chocked of course as well since this is not designed to work as a trailer stop.

I included the video I made on it for you to check out.
