are your base plates adaptable t0 a demco excali-bar tow bar

Roadmaster makes a base plate, part # 1621-1 that when combined with their Tow Bar Adapter, part # RM-032, would work with your Demco Commander II tow bar, part # DM9511012.
According to my research, if your Sportage is a 2WD model with manual transmission it is capable of being flat towed as is with no modification. FWD or 4WD models with an automatic transmission will require a transmission lube pump be installed in order to be flat towed without damaging the transmission. I would suggest you confirm this with KIA.
