Can Curt Front Mount Hitch Receiver Be Installed Upside Down?
Question:
I saw a member of a Dodge forum install this front hitch upside down so it came out in the space between the lower bumper and upper plastic fascia. I was wondering if this hitch is modified to be installed like this or that it can be installed in this manner out of the box? Thanks!

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 31320 is not designed to be installed upside down. The hitch may or may not need to be modified for that, but the frame would required drilling for that and the warranty from the manufacturer would not cover that use as it hasn't been tested for load under that use. I can't recommend it.
