Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Recommendation for 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500HD

Question:

Own a 2016 Chev 3500HD, 8ft bed with BandW gooseneck hitch. Looking at purchasing a fifth wheel RV. Base weight 11,252 and length 363. I see several options on your site. Most camping would be in Montana, dirt roads and improved roads. Recommendations?

Since you have a B and W Gooseneck hitch in the bed of your 2016 Chevy Silverado the best solution for towing a fifth wheel hitch is the Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500 which fits the hitch you have directly and gives you what most refer to as the best fifth wheel hitch you can get. Another advantage is that it won't void the warranty of your trailer hitch frame which adapters like the # CAB-C5G can. That said the # CAB-C5G can work and many report that it works great for them. But the Companion is our best recommendation.
