How To Fix 2019 Vanleigh Vilano 5th Wheel Trailer Leaning To One Side
Question:
I bought a 2019 vanleigh valano 385rd Jan 3 2020 brand new . First time loaded on my truck the trailer is sitting 1” lower on driver side . I read where you say that’s not uncommon. Is that common on a brand new trailer and is there possibly a Warenty fix for this or am I likely going to have to pay to get this issue fixed and is the best fix a new set of springs ? Thank you

It is indeed sometimes common for a travel trailer to lean more to one side even when new as that side usually has all of the heavier appliances. This is not really any sort of warranty issue with the leaf springs but I do have an option that should help mitigate the effect of the trailer leaning to one side and that's with the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs part # TSS-106-40 for underslung and part # TSS-107-40 for overslung axles. This may not get you back to level but as the springs are progressive, they will engage more on the side that's leaning therefore reducing sag. They will also help protect the leaf springs from wearing out faster.
The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs is the only option I am aware of that will help the issue you have with the trailer leaning to one side aside from moving items around inside the trailer which is not really possible for the appliances.
