How Many Appliances Can the 130 Watt Go Power Portable Solar System Run
Question:
My question is when I hook up this solar panel to my camper battery what exactly will it run and how many things at the same time.. for instance can I have my refrigerator running and use my microwave and my coffee pot toaster fan blow dryer curling iron ... not all the same time but will it run these things ?? anything that I would need to use in my camper? does it run everything I would need to use..

The Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller part # 34282730 is an excellent option to provide additional power while camping off-grid. That said, solar panels don't directly power appliances and accessories but rather charge the battery which does power these items. In regards to what can be powered, this is much more complex than one might think. In short, you must take the amp hour capacity of the battery bank, add the charge rate of the solar panel (conditions vary), and then subtract the amp draw of each item. I will say most people don't realize how much power appliances draw such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and even coffee makers for that matter.
