How to Determine Correct Replacement Key for Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack

Looking for a replacement key for a Yakima Ridgeback 4 however I can not find a keycode on the lock

There won't be a key code on the face of the lock core, but if the core is in the unlocked position then you can use the Control Key # Y8007835 to remove the lock core and then see what code is on the side of the barrel.

For a circular key you will use the part "Y8873-XXX" in our search bar but for a rectangular key you will use part "Y8772-XXXX" instead. The Xs are whatever code you find on the lock core.

If the core is locked then you'll either have to drill out the core and replace it or have a locksmith come out and help you so that your RidgeBack # Y02458 is back to fully functioning.
