Charger that Can Draw Power From Alternator and Solar Panel for Charging AUX Battery
Question:
I have an existing national luna dual battery charger. I use the aux battery to run my fridge. Is there a product that I can hook up to the aux battery that still allows it to be charged by the alternator but also by solar panel? Do I need a switch between the two modes or is there a system that will automatically do this. I camp sometimes for several days and the aux battery runs down. will the redarc 25 amp do this and how do I hook it up?

The Redarc DC to DC charger part # 331-BCDC1225D is what you are looking for. This can take two input charges like what you have between the alternator and the solar panel and can charge your auxiliary battery. This happens automatically without requiring any switching.
