Your 285 series tire is approximately 11.22" wide, so a wheel lock for up to 12" wide tires, like the Club Tire Claw XL Wheel Lock with Lug Nut Protector Plate, part # WI491KA-491LNP that you were looking at should work for you, since the claws don't necessarily need to be placed inside one of the spokes or holes on the wheel. Depending on the style of your wheel, you could possibly grab onto the outer lip, as demonstrated in the attached photos and in the video at the bottom of the page.

That is correct. To attach the Lug Nut Protector Plate # 491LNP to the Club Tire Claw XL # WI491KA, you must drill a small hole on one of the claws. The plate does already come with the hole drilled out, and the mounting screws are included. So, basically you would use the plate as a template, mark the hole location on the claw, and power drill a 6mm hole through the mark on the claw. With the hole drilled out, you can then screw the plate onto the claw. I've attached a cut-out of the installation instructions with photos.
