Does the Progressive Dynamics Intelli-Power PD9130LV Reduce the Voltage When Batteries Are Charged
Question:
Thanks for putting together all the great info on this charger. After the lithium battery is fully charged Im wondering what voltage this charger reverts to. My particular battery specs say it should be 14volts.

The Progressive Dynamics # PD9130LV is a replacement converter for a power distribution box without a converter that is rated to work with Lithium batteries. This unit is designed to convert the power from an AC source to charge your Lithium ion batteries, so it's maximum output voltage is going to be 14.6 VDC. Once the battery is charged the voltage isn't going to change- it will simply reduce the amperage sent to the battery in what is often referred to as a "trickle" charge. This is simply a power converter, so you will still need to have a power distribution box like the Progressive Dynamics # PD4135K installed in your coach for this to work properly.
