Will I get Better Ride Quality With ST175/80R13 Trailer Tire over ST175/80D13?

I currently have ST175/80d13 tires on my trailer, will i get a better ride moving to a ST175/80r13 tires? Thanks

Yes! You currently have bias ply tires on your trailer (indicated by the "d" in the size) and you would be moving to a radial tire (indicated by the "r"). A radial tire will have more flex which means there will be more tread-to-road contact meaning better traction and stability and less bouncing. It is similar to an automotive tire like you would find on a truck. It will also provide more heat dissipation which means it will help the tire last longer.

If you are looking for a recommendation, I'm a big fan of the Provider TR175 Tire, # TTWTRTM1758013C. We use Provider tires on a few of our trailers and have had zero problems. These are Load Range C tires with a 1.360 lbs weight rating and a speed rating of 81 mph. I probably shouldn't admit this, but the speed rating is what initially drew me to the Provider tires to begin with, but now I don't have to worry about traveling at highway speeds pretty much anywhere in the country.
