It depends on how you want to activate the trailer brakes. You can activate them in 1 of 2 ways. First, if the trailer has a surge coupler, then you do not need an Electric over hydraulic actuator. The force of the trailer pushing towards the truck when you brake pushes in a surge coupler and that sends fluid back to activate the brakes.
If you need a surge coupler, I have included a link to the ones that we carry for disc brakes on a trailer.
The other option is to use an electric over hydraulic actuator, like # HS381-8067 that you have referenced. You will also need to have a trailer brake controller in the truck that is compatible with electric over hydraulic trailer brakes like the Tekonsha P2, # 90885. This set up sends a signal that you are braking via the controller to the actuator which then applies the trailer brakes.
The best system for you depends on how your truck and trailer are equipped.
