Recommended Electric Bike Rack for 2010 Jeep Wrangler w/ Oversize Spare Tire
Question:
I have two Sondors E-bikes each weighing in at 60/65 lbs. I’m looking for a carrier that I can use on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler which has an oversized spare tire. Any advice would be much appreciated......

Having the larger than stock spare tire will require a measurement.
In order to find a compatible bike rack, you'll need to determine how much clearance you'll need. To do this, get a straight piece of lumber like a 2 x 4 and lean it flush against the rear of the spare. Have a helper hold the 2 x 4 while you measure the distance between the center of the hitch pin hole rearward until you hit the 2 x 4. The bike rack you choose will need to have a hitch pin hole to closest part of the rack dimension greater than that measurement.
If your measurement is less than 7 inches, the # HLY74FR from Hollywood Racks would be a fine choice. The rack has an 80 lb per bike capacity, and will tilt rearward from the vehicle offering easier access to the cargo area. If your measurement is less than 4-1/2 or so inches, the rack can be folded up against the rear of the vehicle for storage when the bikes aren't installed.
If your measurement is less than 12 inches and the bikes weigh no more than 60 lbs apiece, the Yakima HoldUp, part # Y02443 would work well. and would be able to fold up against the vehicle if your measurement is less than 7 inches.
The Thule # TH903202 EasyFold you'd looked at needs at least 8 inches of clearance and would handle the 65 lb weight of your bikes easily.
I'll link you to a help article that shows exactly how to take the measurement I spoke about above.
