Adapter to Allow Viewing of Truck Bed Camera and Tailgate Camera of 2016 Ram 2500 When Wanted

Does the 3460019 work with my 2016 Ram 2500 OEM 8inch Stereo? am I going to be able to switch from tailgate OEM camera to cargo third brake lights camera?

Yes, I checked with GCH and they told me that the OBD Flasher for Truck Bed Cargo Camera Kit # 3460019 does work on the stereo setup you have on your 2016 Ram 2500. This allows you to have the ability to switch between the cargo camera to the tailgate camera at the rear of the truck.

I have a 2015 3500 ram I was looking at another company that sells 3rd brake light cam that works with factory on screen. They told me my radio has to be updated to software version 17.11.07 software. Is this true for this setup also??

The only truck bed camera kit we have available for your Ram 3500's factory monitor is the GCH # 3460015. This will work as long as your Ram is equipped with the factory reverse camera and the 4.3, 5, or 8.4 inch screen. It does not require a stereo software upgrade.

@ChrisR thank you. I already ordered the cam from here that fits my truck. Should be receiving it today. Will probably just mount a switch for the cam
