There is a way to add a 5th wheel hitch to adapt your truck's Curt gooseneck hitch to tow a 5th wheel trailer, but the B&W Companion is not compatible.
Instead, I recommend the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045.
What the Recon does is attach to the ball of the gooseneck hitch to give you a 5th wheel hitch. It is lightweight and extremely easy to use but still has a 21,000 lb towing capacity and a jaw system with a lock bar to give you a secure and comfortable ride
