Comparison of Class III Hitches Available for 2020 Nissan Rogue

Question:

Im looking for a class III hitch for a 2020 Nissan Rogue SV not the Sport model. I see you carry 3 units that show fitting this vehicle. Curt, eTrailer, and Drawtite. Can you tell me the differences in these and which one do you recommend. Ill be using it primarily for a bike rack, thank you

All three hitches are compatible with your vehicle. If the install procedure and how the hitches fit on the vehicle are compared, the etrailer # e98846, Draw-Tite # 75902 and Curt # C13204 are for the most part identical.

The Curt and the Draw-Tite # 75902 feature a shiny powder coat finish while the etrailer model has a matte, non-shiny finish. Purely a matter of personal preference.

The Curt and etrailer models have the same 3500 lb towing/525 lb tongue weight capacity while the Draw-Tite has a lower 350 lb tongue weight capacity. If the sheen used on the powder coat doesn't make a difference to you, you can flip a coin between the Curt and etrailer models or choose the less expensive one. You can't go wrong either way. I'd personally eliminate the Draw-Tite because of the lower tongue weight capacity and because the Curt and etrailer brand hitches have a higher quality powder coat finish in my opinion.

If you thing you might be towing with the hitch at some point in the future, you'd need a trailer wiring harness # 118480. For a ball mount, use # 2753 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.

I've linked to installation videos for the hitches and wiring harness I mentioned.
