Thule Cargo Box for a 2012 Honda Pilot with Factory Roof Rack that Allows Rear Hatch to Open

Question:

I just bought a Honda Pilot. I paid extra for the factory roof rails and crossbars. when I put my Ascent 1100 on the top, adjusted fully forward botht he crossbars and box the tailgate still rubs the thule box. Big Problem! The dealer said they cant adjust the roof rack and Id need to swap out the Thule box.

You have to take fit guides with a grain of salt sometimes. The box does technically fit (the roof rack) but it is not excluded even if you cannot open the rear hatch all of the way. But not to worry, I can help you find a box that will work.

The Thule Pulse Large box, # TH614, is only 67 inches long but still offers 14 cubic feet of space. This box is most likely to work with the Pilot allowing you to open the rear hatch.
