Does my 2012 Chevy Silverado Have UnderBed 5th Wheel Rails from the Factory

Question:

I just purchased a Toy Hauler and included in the deal was a 30077 hitch with a slider and universal rails. My truck is a 2012 Silverado 2500HD with 78inch bed. I was told this vehicle is pre wired and has a pre drilled frame rails. WIll this work on my truck or do i need a different rail set? Is there an install video link you can share with me?

You may have an underbed rail system installed in your vehicle that would allow you to install an Elite Series Hitch like the Reese Elite Series Pre-Assembled 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # RP30144.

Check your bed for four pucks that the feet of an Elite hitch would sit in. Check out the picture I attached to get an idea of what they look like.

If you do not see the pucks then you do not have the underbed system and you could use the hitch and rails that came with your Toy Hauler.
