The trailer hitches for a 2011 Toyota Prius are Class I hitches and the Thule # TH9024XT, is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch. To determine if there is clearance for the rack, with a hitch installed, measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the rear of the vehicle.
If that measurement is less than 6-1/5 inches then the carrier will clear the rear of the vehicle. The back of the upright is 12-1/4 inches from the back of hitch pin hole center. The lowest point on the rack is the bottom of the shank so it will be the same as the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the receiver opening.
For better ground clearance and for many of the same features, such as anti-sway cradles and the ability to tilt, I recommend the Swagman Titan, # S63400. This rack has a 3 inch rise in the shank for greater ground clearance. It measures 11-3/4 inches from hitch pin hole center to the foot of the carrier and 14-1/2 inches to the back of the upright.
I have included video links for each bike rack for you to view.
