Do Trailer Hubs Sometimes Have Different Wheel Stud Diameters

Holes for the studs are bigger on some rims of the same bolt pattern?

Yes, trailer hubs will sometimes be 1/2 inch diameter like the # 8-201-9UC3-EZ and for some of the higher capacity hubs the diameter can be 5/8 inch like # K08-201-97.
