Is There a Vent on the Valterra R8060 ABS RV Water Tank
Question:
I read the QA and one answer said I could install this tank on its side. It looks like it has 3 holes in it. 1. Are all the holes threaded? 2. If laid on its side how would you vent it since it would have to be laid on the side with a drain on the bottom?

Yes. I have confirmed with Valterra that the # R8060 can be laid on its' side and all of the holes are 3/8" threaded fittings. This tank does not come with a built in vent, so you would need to create your own vent, which can be done on whichever side you decide to mount up.
