Why Do 205/75-15 Tires Wear In the Middle Of the Tread

I put new trailer tires on last year bout the middle of the year and the inside tread is almost gone. Its a 6x10 single axle. It hauls my mower which is less than 1,500 pounds. Both tires are like this and they are load range d whats causing this They are 205 75 15 load range d

The main cause of a trailer tire wearing in the center of the tire is due the tire being overinflated. That said, if you were using a load range that exceeded the weight of the trailer by a good margin then that could cause this issue as well. That's just one of the reasons we recommend you don't just choose the highest load range possible.

In order to replace the worn tires, I recommend the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTRTM2057515C for load range C or part # TR20515D for load range D.
