Comparing Progressive Dynamics AC/DC Panel with Converter Part PD4060K and Part PD4060LIV

Question:

PD4060LIK vs PD4060KV I am hoping you can clarify the differences between the different models of this converter. One copy of the installation manual I downloaded from Progressive Dynamics shows a switch on the PD4060KV circuit board to change the output mode from lead acid battery to lithium battery. Another version of the same manual does not show a switch but references the PD4060L as the model needed for a lithium battery setup. I can’t tell which manual is the current version. Can you tell me if the current PD4060KV has the switch, or do I need to buy the PD4060LIV model for a lithium battery setup? If the PD4060KV has the output mode switch, is there any difference between the PD4060KV set to lithium battery mode vs the PD4060LIK? I am changing my travel trailer from a lead acid battery setup to lithium, so I need to change the converter to one that will charge lithium batteries correctly. My existing converter is only for lead acid batteries. Thanks for shedding light on this.

The main difference between the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger part # PD4060K and part # PD4060LIK is that the former model can charge both lithium and standard batteries such as lead acid/AGM/Etc. whereas the latter is only capable of charging lithium batteries. The former unit was just recently released with an updated lithium switch .
