Replacement DVD Player for 2011 Forest River Signature Light

we have a 2011 forret river signature light with the tall dvd - stereo unit. The dvd player will play and then lock up you restart the system and it will play and then lock up like the motor or somethintg?

You're correct that this does sound like the motor on your DVD player is going out and is having trouble keeping the discs moving. To replace your old unit I recommend using the iRV RV Stereo # 292-101079, which fits in mounting holes 9" long x 5" tall x 5" deep and provides you with the flexibility to play DVDs and CDs as well as music through the AUX cord or over a Bluetooth connection.
If you've got a different sized mounting hole in your 2011 Forest River, please let me know and I can look to see if we have anything that will provide a better fit.
