4-Bike Platform Rack that Can Clear Rear Spare of 2014 Jeep Wrangler  

Question:

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler and wondering if this will fit it. It has a big tire on the back and wondering if it will have enough clearance.

In order for the Hollywood Racks bike rack HR1400Z to fit and clear your rear spare you'd need at less than 7-1/2 inches from the pin hole of your hitch out to the furthest point out on the rear tire. Since you have an oversize spare that might not be possible. But we do have the Draw Tite hitch part # DT78MR that gives the best clearance here. With the stock size tire we took this measurement on a similar Wrangler and found the dimension to be 5-1/2 inches so the # HR1400Z would fit.

For a similar 4 bike rack with more clearance we have the Yakima HoldUp part # Y02443-2 which has 12 inches from the pin hole to the wheel cradle. Then it has 7 inches when folded up too so you'd get that feature as well possibly.
