How to Change the Height of Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30144
Question:
How do I raise the height of me hitch? It was installed in the lowest position and I need to raise it 1 inch.

The center section of the Elite series hitch # RP30144 is bolted to the two leg pieces just below the head. There will be 2 rows of 4 holes on each side. Yours sounds like it is currently in the second from the top set of holes.
You need to move it to the next set down to raise the hitch up. Remove the bolts hold on the legs on each side, move the legs down to the desired height, put the bolts back in place. I have included a link to the instructions that will help you. Page 6 has a nice diagram that will help.
