How Much Cooling and Fluid Flow does Derale D15960 Hyper Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Provide

Question:

How many degrees does the cooler provide? And what is the flow rate to achive proper cooling. I have been reading up on transmission cooling and the OEM on the production coolers is only marginal at best. So if your engine is running at or above 200degrees your transmission will be running hot also. this is the thing I want to avoid

Because there's so many variables involved, such as the outside temperature, the load the engine is experiencing, the motor itself etc, Derale doesn't have a specific number of degrees that their # D15960 Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler will provide. They could tell me that the cooler would dissipate 46,000 BTU/Hour. The cooler is capable of moving 15.5 gallons per minute.

I hope that information is helpful. I've linked to the installation details for you.
