Hitch for my 2020 GMC Terrain with the Furthest Rear Pin Hole Location

Question:

I have a 2020 gmc terrain and am comparing the two class III 2inch hitches. Do they both have the same clearance to the back of the vehicle because I am using a bike rack and do not want to hit my tailgate.

Of the hitches available for the 2020 GMC Terrain the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13307 has the furthest rearward pin hole location giving you the best chance for getting the tailgate open with your bike rack when you need to. The pin hole is 4" from the rear edge of the bumper Versus the DrawTite part # 76419 which is at 5". I have included a video for you of the installation process to check out.

If you need wiring for towing a trailer the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C94FR is the way to go as long as you have the tow package. I have also included installation videos on these for you as well. If you watch the C94FR video, you can see where to check for your tow package. The reason I say this is because it is much easier to get to that tow package plug before the hitch is in place rather than after.
