do you know if the ford factory part 7 and 4 prong trailer connecter would fit in to your bracket hm40978

I cannot say for sure if your Ford OEM trailer connector will fit in the Hopkins Replacement Mounting Bracket, # HM40978, but I have attached a photo showing the dimensions of the mounting hole on this bracket for you to compare. You can compare these dimensions to the dimensions of your trailer connector to determine if it will fit.

If your existing connector will not fit, then you could replace your existing socket with the Pollak 7 and 4 Pole Trailer Connector with Mounting Bracket, # HM40975. You can simply unplug the wiring harness from the back of your existing socket and plug that into the back of the new socket.
