Can Fan of MaxxAir MaxxFan Operate with Lid of Vent Open 1-1/2 inches  

Question:

Hi! Will this fan operate if opened only 1.5 inches? We have a tear and want to eventually put a rooftop tent on crossbars. We have 4.5 inches of clearance from the roof to the top of the cross bars. Is that enough space for the vent to open and start the fan? I reached out to the manufacturer, but did not get a response. Thanks!

Yes, the fan of the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent # MA00-04401M can actually operate with the lid closed to move air in the trailer so you can operate it with the lid opened 1-1/2 inches.
