Will the Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover Hold up in a Carwash?

Can I leave it in place when I take my truck to the car wash?

The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover part # 311-SWCA27A58 is safe to take in the car wash but please keep in mind a touch less is the way to go and Pace Edwards does not recommend waxing the cover so that step should be skipped. With the high pressures of a car wash I suspect there would be water penetration that isn't typical of the cover during normal rain events. The instructions are linked below page 6 and 7 discuss care and maintenance while page 8 covers warranty.

To help avoid some of the moisture getting in you can use the Pace Edwards WeatherGate Tailgate Seal part # 311-WG2001 to fill in the gaps around the tailgate sides and bottoms.
