How To Get More Turning Clearance Using the Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch for a 2000 Ford F-350

Question:

Can this gooseneck hitch be rotated so the offset hole, that is is usually facing towards the cab, face rear ward to allow few inches of cab corner to trailer clearance?? Seems it is designed for universal use with holes and pins for both sides of hitch..

The Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch part # C60720 which is a fit for a 2000 Ford F-250/F-350 can only be installed one way. Therefore, you can't flip the center section to get more turning clearance. That said, I do have an option for you to increase turning clearance and that is to use the Curt 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C602 which will provide an extra 4" of offset.
