Can the Brakes of a Flat Towed Vehicle be Applied Manually using the Brake Buddy 3
Question:
Can you apply the brakes from the tow vehicle for the dingy separately Or just by by the proportional braking from pedal/

Expert Reply:
The Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System part # HM39524 will not allow you to apply the brakes on the towed vehicle separately. Instead like you mentioned it uses a proportional sensor to apply the brakes when the towing vehicle slows. You are able to control the braking sensitivity or how how much work you want the towed vehicle to do but it doesn't offer a manual override like on a trailer brake controller to manually engage the brakes on the towed vehicle.
Check out the video my buddy Shane did on the system that I linked for you.
