Is There a Custom Installation Kit Available For the Flex-a-lite 16 Flex-Wave Electric Fan
Question:
Is there a kit to install this in a 2003 Yukon 6.0. I am curious about the fan automatically turning on when the air conditioning is turned on. I also tow, want to make sure you think this will move enough air to keep my Yukon cool when moving my camper

There is not a vehicle specific installation kit available for the Flex-a-lite Flex-Wave Electric Fan # FLX236 but it does install by mounting directly to your radiator core using nylon bolts and push nuts. This will be a great solution for your 2003 GMC Yukon XL when towing your camper and will work to keep you from overheating, especially if you tow a lot in areas with restricted air flow or at low speeds.
If you want to have your fan turn off when the air conditioner is going you'll need to use the Flex-a-lite Adjustable Temperature Controller for Electric Fan # FLX31149 which will not only perform this function, but it will monitor the fluid temperature to sense high engine coolant temperatures and turn on as needed.
