How Low Does the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent Sit Below the Ceiling

Does the bottom of this fan extend into the living quarters? If so, how much?

The MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent part # MA00-03851 once installed will sit almost flush with the ceiling. The panel which houses the light and control knob I would say is around 1/4" - 1/2" thick so that is all that would sit inside the trailer. I have attached a photo for reference.
