Is the Thule OutWayTrunk Mounted Bike Rack Compatible with a 2010 Toyota Prius

Please let us know if the Thule OutWay 2 will fit on our 2010 Prius for carrying to road bikes over 2500 miles.

Yes, the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Carrier # TH45JV is confirmed by Thule to work on your 2010 Toyota Prius and would work well for carrying your road bikes over 2,500 miles.

Since you plan on carrying your bikes for such a long distance I would recommend you remove the rack every so often, especially after inclement weather, to clean the contact point of the rack and your vehicle to prevent any light scratching of the paint of your vehicle.

If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bike more level. I have linked a video of the adapter as well.
