Difference Between Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening Part RM-4750 and RM-4700

Question:

I have a 2006 Dynamax Coach and a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited toad. Please check order #s and for all the equipment I have installed. Overall I am completely satisfied with the equipment, your help, the install, and how the system performs. The one thing I noticed right away after towing my Jeep in the rain is how much dirt/mud collects on it. The Dynamax has a full width mud flap that I believe will catch most big stuff but the fine stuff just coats the Jeep. So I looked at the products you have, the RM-4750 and RM-4700. My question is what is the difference between the two and which would be best for my application? And if I did install one, would it help eliminate some of the dirt and debris that collect on the Jeep in the rain? Thanks for your help.

The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening is an excellent option to help protect your vehicle while in tow from both larger debris and smaller debris. This debris not only dirties up the vehicle but can also lead to damage such as scratches so I highly recommend a protective device such as the above. In regards to the difference between part # RM-4750 and part # RM-4700, the former is for Roadaster Quick-Disconnect Base Plate Kits and the latter is for the Roadmaster Crossbar Style Base Plate Kits.

Therefore, since you have the Roadaster Quick-Disconnect Base Plate Kits you"ll want to use part # RM-4750.
