Best Weight Distribution With Sway Control for Towing 7,000 lb Travel Trailer

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 4wd 6.2L 8spd. 3.23 gears, factory tow package and brake controller. The trailer Ill be towing is a 2015 Salem Cruise Lite 261BHXL. What would be the best weight distribution away control hitch for this set up?

Based on my research your 2015 Salem Cruise Lite 261BHXL travel trailer has a GVWR (max gross weight) of just over 7,000 lbs, which is important for choosing the best weight distribution system. That's because the ideal system would be one in which your total tongue weight falls somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity. Based on your GVWR your total tongue weight should be approximately 750 lbs or so.

The best weight distribution with sway control for you is the the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # EQ37100ET because this system uses 4 points of sway control via friction in the spring bars to ensure you never have to worry about your trailer swaying.
