Difference Between Curt and etrailer Trailer Hitch for 2020 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I want a hitch made in the USA so I'm deciding between your e98905 and the Curt C13264 but they appear to be identical in the way they install and their capacities. What is the difference?

The main difference between the Curt # C13264 and the etrailer # e98905 hitch receivers lies in the superior matte black powder coat finish of the etrailer hitch versus the traditional glossy finish of the Curt hitch. I recommend # e98905 because the matte finish will hide dirt, scuffs and dings better, and many people just like the more rugged look of the matte black finish.
As you mentioned, they are both proudly made in the USA, they share the same towing capacities and can be used with a weight distribution system. In terms of installation they are both going to bolt right up to existing holes in your Tacoma's frame, so neither require drilling, making them a relatively easy DIY job.
