Universal and Custom Fit Trailer Towing Mirror Recommendations for a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie

Question:

Will this fit a 2012 Dodge 2500 Laramie model? Will custom mirrors fit? How much work to install? Existing mirrors have built in turn signals which I could do without. The Dodge Dealer, Parts Dept told me that installing a tow mirror would blow the modules in the door among other modules. Is this true, or is it only true if all the electric connections are made. All I care about is the mirror adjustment and none of the fancy parts.

The CIPA door mount towing mirror, # 11650, is a universal fit type of item. It is designed to attach at the bottom of the door and also in between the top of the door and the window. Make sure that you are able to insert a small hook in these locations. I have included a link to a video review of this mirror for you.
