Troubleshooting Prodigy P2 Brake Controller that Has PL Error Code

Question:

When the gain is set below 2.8 the brakes work fine when the gain is set any higher the PL code flashes. I am using the plug and play harness and this is with an EOH system. I cant figure out why its only when the gain is set above 3. Tekonsha has sent me a new controller to put in when I get home to try that. The trailer is brand new and like I said the brakes do work on the lower setting.

What brand of EOH actuator is on the trailer? You might try running a jumper wire from the positive battery post to the black wire of the controller to see if that prevents the issue as well. Typically this error is caused by power interruption on the power wire so running a jumper wire would allow us to know for sure if the wiring is at fault or if it's something else.
