Availability of Replacement Slider Base for Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch

Hi, Last year I purchased a new Reese hitch and mounted it on a husky slider this worked great until the husky slider didnt hold anymore possibly due to age it scared me bad because of the bang. So I am asking, can I purchase the slider part for my Reese hitch? since I have the hitch itself already and how much would that cost. Thank you

Reese hitch heads should not be installed on Husky sliders. I am not sure how you got the two parts to fit together but I'd suspect the issue you had was related to the parts not being compatible.
I am not totally sure which hitch you have but we have the Reese slider bases available with part # RP50024 which fits the standard Reese hitches that fit industry standard rails like the hitch you referenced. This is a round tube slider which will be much easier to use and also much smoother.
