What Tires of a Dually Truck Should Have Snow Chains Installed

Question:

My pickup is 4-wheel drive. When tire chains are required for snow, do I have to put them on all six tires or four tires two front and outside rear?

Helpful Expert Reply:

As a bare minimum you'd be able to get by with just two chains total on the outsides of the rear axle, but ideally you have chains on all 6 wheels. If you let know what tire sizes you have I can help you pick out the best options.
