Can I still add a rear cargo ladder “Gobi” ? 2017 4runner TRDpro 5th gen

Yes, a Gobi rear ladder could still fit the back of your 2017 Toyota 4Runner with the Pioneer Platform Tray part # JA9965 installed as there's plenty of room. I attached a picture of this rack installed on a similar 4Runner and you can see there's clearance for the Gobi ladder which only attaches to the top of the rear hatch.
