Connecting Bayou Classic KAB4 Burner to 100 Pound Propane Tank

Question:

I would like to connect a 100lb lp tank to my Bayou Classic kab4 burner with a “quick disconnect” fitting. My burner is a “high pressure” unit. I can’t find a “quick disconnect” for my needs. Can you help?

We might have something that will get you connected but we don't deal with many high pressure propane accessories so it's not exactly what you're trying to do. I also am not familiar with that burner but from what I can tell it has a flare fitting on it and comes with a hose from a Type 1 to that flare with a high-pressure regulator in-line. You should be able to use a POL to Type 1 adapter, part # 204128-MBS, to connect your existing hose to the 100 pound tank and the other end of the hose to your burner like normal. This gets you to your larger tank.

We don't carry the parts to replace your hose and high-pressure regulator and go from the 100 pound tank to your burner. Especially to make the burner connection a quick disconnect like you want.

If something is wrong about the burner or I don't understand what you're trying to do just let me know. If it's easier for you send me some pictures.
