Should Knurls of Trailer Suspension Bolts Interfere with Fitting Into Bushing
Question:
I purchased some wet bolts from you but Im trouble getting them in the hole. This is because the knurled bolt shaft does not want to go into the hole. Ive tried beating it in with a hammer while protecting the zerk but cant get it in. is there a better way to accomplish this?

If you check out the picture I attached you can see that the knurls of the wet bolts like the part # 126B2 are supposed go through the shackle straps and not the bushing. I believe the issue you are having is you are trying to force the knurls through the bushing. You may need thicker straps if yours are too thin to prevent that.
