How Does Neck of LaSalle Bristol Utopia Faucet Attach to Valve Body
Question:
Hello. Received my new faucet today. No damage. I did want to know how the faucet outflow neck attached to the valve body? The plastic bushing seems too wide to allow the base to sit deep enough into the valve body hole to get the collar to screw down and tighten the connection. What am I missing? Thank you for the help.

I checked with LaSalle Bristol for info on how the fittings you mentioned connect of the # 34420380R340NABX and they send me the following:
The spout sleeve has a lip that needs to be inserted into the channel on the spout.
Once that is in place the spout will tightly fit into the faucet deck.
