How Does the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Split Power From the Trailer and Battery
Question:
If the unit is rated at 40A including charging amperage, how much of the 40A is available for loads in the system other than battery charging?

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger part # PD914024ALV will split power between the trailer and battery/batteries with the trailer being the fixed variable and the battery/batteries being the constant. In other words, if the trailer is demanding 10 amps then the remaining 30 amps or so would be applied to the battery bank.
